The maintenance grant differs from the maintenance loan in as much as you don’t have to pay it back at the end. As you do with the maintenance loan. The only stipulations are with regards to how much your household income equals to. The grant ranges from £50 to nearly £3, 500 for those whose household income is £25000 or less.
With regard to paying back any student financial loans, the individual has to be earning at least 21,000 or more a year. Even then, the monthly repayments will depend on the amount the individual pays back each month. The smallest amount payable is £30.
